Hey! My name is Elizabeth.
I’m a researcher, strategist, and facilitator.

I’m based in Chicago, Illinois.

I am currently Senior Manager for Research + Engagement at the Beeck Center for Social Impact + Innovation. With the Digital Benefits Network team, I’ve provided research and technical assistance to state and local governments and community organizations on technology and public benefits access.

I come from a qualitative research background, and have a PhD in Anthropology and Music from the University of Pennsylvania. In my dissertation research, I studied noise pollution as an urban governance and environmental management issue in Mexico City. Through ethnographic research (interviews, observations), review of city policy and documents, and qualitative and quantitative analysis of city noise complaint data, I explored how city residents and city institutions understand noise issues and try to address them through complaints and alternative strategies.
